personality : Victoria was a very closed off person after losing her fiancé. Since dating Matt, she has become more bright and open. She is generally kind, however she is not afraid to "tell it like it is" or stand up for what she believes is right, no matter the cost. If she cares deeply about someone, she'll protect them with her life. She also has a razor-sharp wit that few can match.

Victoria Nicole Connor was born on January 23rd, 1991 to Grace and Joseph Connor in San Fransisco, California. She is the youngest and last child in the family, born two years after her sister, Hannah, and three years after her brother, Eric. Growing up, Victoria and her siblings were often at odds, so she kept to herself. Out of all the people in her family, she was closest to her father. Though he never openly admitted it, Victoria was his favorite child (for which her siblings heavily resented her for at the time). Despite the strife between the Connor siblings, Hannah and Eric were protective of her and she of them.With their father being a particularly successful businessman and their mother being a professor of economics at San Fransisco State University, the Connors were well off, so all three children attended private elementary, middle and high school. She excelled in all of her classes, but was paricularly interested in history and government, wanting to be a senator one day. In high school, she was elected president of the student council due to her intelligence and natural leadership skills. This made her popular, though she only had a select few real friends, since she was generally a loner who liked reading and drawing. Eric gained his own popularity through football (eventually becoming quaterback) and Hannah used her proximity to Victoria to gain a higher social standing, which Victoria hated.Despite being pretty and popular, she had only one relationship in high school, a girl named Danielle, that she dated at the age of sixteen after realizing she was bisexual. Fearing her parents' rejection, she only told her siblings, who accepted her and helped her hide the relationship. The secrecy took its toll and eventually, the relationship was ended by Danielle in Victoria's junior year. Her parents found out after the fact and while her mother was accepting, her father was not, causing a rift between them.Even with the problems regarding her family and her heartbreak, Victoria graduated the following year in 2009 at eighteen as valedictorian with a magna cum laude distinction.After graduation, she was accepted to Georgetown University and moved from California to D.C. to study political science, still hoping to become a senator. In addition to her required courses, she studied German and French, discovering a love and gift for languages. In 2013, during her senior year of college, she recieved a recruitment offer at twenty-two from the CIA that she accepted, abandoning her former aspirations in favor of adventure and intrigue.

Soon after her college graduation in 2013, Victoria moved from Washington, D.C. to Williamsburg, Virginia. There, after being hired and passing several other tests, she was invited to begin the intense training with the other recruits at the facility known as The Farm. Unable to talk to her family and the few friends she had (as well as living under a fake identity), Victoria managed to make friends with another recruit, a young man named Peter Leonard. The two became friends rather quickly (an unusual occurance for Victoria) and eventually, friendship progressed into romantic feelings. In the third month of the six month program, the two began dating. By the time the six month mark hit and the Farm training was concluded, they were serious.Both were given their baseline certification and were completing different kinds of intelligence work before Victoria entered another six months of training prior to a deep cover assignment in Sudan. When she finished this training by the end of the year, she and Peter had decided to get an apartment togther. The assignment in Sudan started in the February of 2014 (when Victoria was now twenty-three) and took four months for her to complete, though a firefight caused her to sustain a gunshot wound to the shoulder just before she completed her mission. When she arrived home, it took a month for her to recover and during that time, Peter (also an operations officer) was sent on assignment to Columbia to cultivate an asset.He did not return to the States for another two months and by the time he did, she had been given an assignment in Budapest. When she returned to Virginia, he was also back and the two decided to use vacation days to spend a week in Hawaii together. It was here that Peter took the plunge and proposed, to which Victoria happily accepted. The rest of the year continued in the same way, with both of them having training at home or intelligence missions overseas and seeing each other whenever they could. The following year, in 2015, they were both given an assignment together.The mission was meant to be simple: retrieve an asset defecting from Russia and escort him back to the US. However, the group got wind and tried to stop them, resulting in a gun fight. Victoria made it out uninjured, however her fiancé and the asset did not. Peter had taken a bullet to the chest and the asset one to the head. To this day, Victoria believes their deaths to be her fault for not acting to take out the man that shot them quicker. Upon her return home just after the incident, she discovered she had developed PTSD and survivor's guilt as a result and began seeing a therapist. She also accepted the Exceptional Service Medallion that was given to Peter post-humorously and gave it to his family. For this mission, she was also awarded the Hostile Action Service Medal.However, she did not let these affect her work and against the advice of her therapist, threw herself back into work almost immediately after the funeral.
The few friends she had also urged her to take a moment to step back and grieve, however she refused. She became even more withdrawn than usual and rarely, if ever, did things outside of work. Three years later, in March of 2018, tragedy touched her again. Her estranged father developed a particularly bad case of pnemonia (on top of already mounting health problems) and died.Though he never accepted her sexuality and she had not spoken to him since, she flew home to San Francisco for his funeral. She and her siblings decided then to patch up their strained relationship. However, she did not tell any of her family her true job, choosing instead to continue letting them believe that she and Peter worked for the same international techology company as salespeople and that he had been shot in a mugging.After her father's funeral, Victoria (now twenty-seven) went back to work, getting sent to Yemen on a mission to collect some vital intelligence from an informant. At the dead drop, some enemies tried to intercept her, resulting in a physical altercation that gave her a knife wound on her right thigh. Despite this, she successfully retrieved the intelligence and gave it to the CIA. It became far more difficult to do her work in March 2020, when the US locked down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The CIA had had intelligence about the disease since late 2019 (some of which Victoria herself had procured) but the presidential administration did not act right away. Even with the lockdown making her missions more difficult, she persevered.Victoria found creative ways to be covert overseas despite restrictions around the world, took shifts when she was home at headquarters, and worked from home whenever possible. This continued until mid-2020 for the US and until February 2022 for most of the rest of the world, due to the rise of the Omnicron variant of COVID-19. In August of 2022, Victoria was given a Intelligence Star for her sucessful seven-month (starting in February) deep cover infiltration of a suspected terrorist group since the intelligence she provided led to the apprehension of their leader.In 2023, now thirty-two year old Victoria was put on a joint mission between a team of CIA operations officers and Navy SEAL team 3 in Barcelona. The mission was to stop a double agent from selling valuable intel to a known terrorist organization. However, only the CIA knew it was a joint op. During the op, she meets a SEAL named Matthew Rhodes. While the relationship between the two is intially distant, she warms up to him when he saves her life. After this, they become friends and she realizes it feels almost the same way it did with Peter. She shares this with him one night as they're conducting surveillence on the target, as well as how Peter died and that she believes it to be her fault that he and the asset are dead.The mission takes a few weeks, but ends successfully and Victoria decides to give him her number as friends so they can keep in contact. In between missions and other work duties, they find time to hang out when they're both back in the US. After several coffee outings and movie nights at each other's apartments that border on dates, they finally realize that whatever's between them obviously surpasses mere friendship, and in June of 2023, exactly two months after they first met, Matthew asks her out. Victoria is hestitant at first (since she hasn't dated since losing Peter) but she ultimately accepts. The date takes place that weekend, at her favorite steakhouse.They continued to date in between work missions throughout the year and by the time June of the following year comes around, she realizes she has fallen in love with him and that he has healed her heart after losing Peter. So, she tells him and takes the risk of asking Matthew to move in together. He accepted and they have since found a bigger apartment in Williamsburg and are currently living there together with Victoria's cat, Audrey.
